A Wounded World Holds You

Series: November 2024

November 24, 2024 | Rev. Brooke Heerwald Steiner

There is so much that can worry us—we worry about our kids, we worry about our jobs, we worry about finances, we worry about health. We worry about global conflicts in Ukraine, Israel, and Palestine, we worry about our national politics, we worry about climate change and homelessness and child poverty. In scripture, we hear Jesus’ words to his disciples, “do not worry.” So much easier said than done! This week we will talk about our worries and how we can use them to usher in more care and concern for our neighbors, more perspective and grounding for ourselves, and more action and empathy in our daily lives.
