Series: Gifts That Heal
January 12, 2025 | Rev. Brooke Heerwald Steiner
We hear the story of Moses and the burning bush. Moses is curious and gets closer to discover what is happening. His curiosity brings him into conversation with God, transforming his life and the lives of others. Together we’ll talk about how curiosity is a gift that can bring us closer to other people, helping to heal divisions. Curiosity can lead us closer to God and God’s creation, even if we never receive answers. This is an interactive children’s service, where we will be reminded of the gift of curious children and what they can teach us about asking questions and wonder. Joining us in worship is River Valley Dance Company.

With the busy “gift-giving season” behind us, let’s take time to reflect on the gifts we can offer others that bring about healing, hope, and beauty in this broken and hurting world. These are not gifts you can buy in a store or order online; these are gifts we must nurture and cultivate within us.
