What Makes Us Cry: Joy

Series: What Makes Us Cry

June 05, 2022

When Sarah was told she was having a baby at an old age, she laughed mightily. So much so that she and Abraham named their child Isaac, which means laughter. The book of Genesis has Sarah remarking, “God gave me laughter.” Indeed, God gave us laughter and joy as a gift. This week in worship we will explore the gift that it is. Deep joy and laughter can move us to tears. It’s a great way to kick off the summer as we share in the things that delight us most deeply.
