Hosanna!

Series: Seeking

April 02, 2023 | Rev. Brooke Heerwald Steiner

This week we celebrate Jesus' entry into Jerusalem with a traditional palm parade. All children are invited to gather in the lobby before worship to process into the sanctuary at the beginning of service. This is a family-friendly worship service with communion where together we'll hear of 2 parades that happened during that time. This gives us a question—in which parade will we participate? Who will we follow? Join us as we begin Holy Week together, seeking after God and trying to follow Jesus.

Series Information

Throughout the gospels, Jesus encounters people who are seeking. They are seeking a new beginning, a different life, a deeper faith. The exchange between them is one of questions and exploration. We are also seeking many things. Lent offers us a season to engage in this spiritual practice of seeking and asking questions. Each week, we will seek good questions rather than easy answers. Our faith will be shaped by our growth, curiosity, and wonder.
