Bold Women: Rahab

Series: BOLD: 5 Female Leaders in the Old Testament

July 16, 2023 | Rev. Brooke Heerwald Steiner

This week we will hear the story of Rahab. Not a common household name, but someone who deserves to be! As a prostitute, she was not very esteemed in her day. Yet, two men depend on her for their very lives. She turns out to be someone they trust and in turn, she hides them to save their lives. Rahab tricks those who are looking for them, then lowers them down through her window. This act earned her the role of heroic convert. An entertaining story, but deep down lies a whole lot to uncover.
