Belonging: A Work in Progress

Series: Belonging

January 08, 2023 | Rev. Brooke Heerwald Steiner

Shannon Heupel, a member of our congregation, will be in worship this week to share her journey of addiction and recovery through Alcoholics Anonymous. She has been sober for the past 12 years and sober 24 of the last 25 years. We are so grateful that Shannon is willing to share her story so openly in hopes that it will help all us create a sense of belonging for ourselves and others as each of us keep becoming the best version of ourselves we can be. Jesus welcomed people from a wide variety of situations and life stories—it's our hope to be able to do the same.

Join us as we explore the concept of belonging. It's a desire and need that we all have to belong. What does it mean to truly belong? How can we create belonging? To whom do we belong?
