We Are One: With All Creation

Dear friends of EUMC,
Since this is my last Sunday serving as Supply Pastor, I want to take a moment to thank you for the honor of serving you during Brooke's sabbatical. It has been a great joy to develop deeper relationships and be welcomed into precious times of celebration and sorrow on this journey of life. A special thank you to Brooke for entrusting me, for the Leadership Team's support, for the excellence of the staff, for everyone who has "stepped up to the plate" whenever help was needed. I also want to thank my husband, Larry, who has been by my side for 39 years encouraging and supporting me in so many ways, including enlarging "Papa" responsibilities this summer. I am grateful for my family, Elle and Sophia, Lisa and Jeff who came along for the ride and experienced Pastor Nana. I am excited to hear the stories Brooke will tell from her journey of rest and renewal as well as her challenges for all of us at EUMC as we continue "Loving Beyond Ourselves!" I leave you with this blessing from Philippians: "I thank my God for every remembrance of you, always in every one of my prayers for all of you, praying with joy for your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now. I am confident of this, that the one who began a good work in you will continue to complete it until the day of Jesus Christ."
