We Are One In Connection

This Sunday is the beginning of our lay preaching series. Larry Farmer is our first preacher of the series, and asks:
What are the stories in your life that have connected you to other lands, cultures, nature, people, and religions? The United Methodist Church identifies itself as a "connectional" church. When Terry was serving as a District Superintendent, I spent most Sundays worshiping in different United Methodist churches. I learned a lot! Before I even walked through the doors, I knew I was connected because, "We are one in the Spirit, we are one in the Lord..." That spiritual connection helps us walk, work, and praise together so others "...will know we are Christians by our love." Let's do just that this Sunday!
