The Good for Nothing Tree

Series:

Summary

This week is our children's interactive worship service. We will read the storybook, The Good For Nothing Tree, based on the parable in Luke 13 of a tree that produces no fruit for years. Should it get chopped down so it doesn't continue to take nutrients from the soil? Through songs, prayers and conversation, we will explore what it means to slow down, be present, and not focus on "producing." Is our value in what we can accomplish, or is our value in being one of God's children and part of the grand creation? Join us in worship as we are blessed by the leadership gifts of our children.
