Sharing the Story

We owe much of our faith tradition to storytellers. For thousands of years, oral stories were passed around from community to community before they made it into our Holy Bibles. Before the printing press was ever a thought, stories were being told to children at campfires and bedtimes. I'm positive Jesus was such an effective leader because of his storytelling abilities. Stories remind us who we are, whose we are, and who we seek to be. This week we'll hear the encouragement in Psalm 78 to tell stories of God's amazing work and love. Each of us has a unique voice and perspective on God's goodness—and the world needs to hear about it! I look forward to seeing you all as we live the story of God's grace together.
