On Sunday, June 14 (12:00–2:00 PM) and Tuesday, June 16 (6:00–8:00 PM), we will gather for an afternoon and evening of education along with shared storytelling and listening. These gatherings are open to everyone — whether you read the book Between the Listening and the Telling by Mark Yaconelli or not! Our focus will be the stories of how we serve and show up for one another and the world — volunteering, caring for the elderly or little ones, practicing self-care, building community, standing for justice, and/or wherever your heart finds joy.
Our congregation members are involved in so many meaningful ways that others rarely get to hear about. You may not think your story is particularly compelling — but here's the thing: every great storytelling experience needs both storytellers and listeners. All are welcome, in whatever role feels right for you.
Both June gatherings will essentially be the same activity, so you are welcome to attend one or both.
