Jeannie Shubitz

Music Director

Jeannie has been a member of EUMC for nearly six years, children's choir director for five years, and is thrilled to be welcomed as Director of Music. Jeannie has a Master's Degree in Musical Theatre/Opera Performance from Arizona State University, and has performed professionally all over the U.S. She is passionate about music and storytelling as an avenue for connection to one another and our world, and is beyond excited to build on an already thriving musical community here at EUMC. Jeannie grew up in Tucson, Arizona, and after spending 15+ years in and around NYC, moved to Minnesota almost six years ago before she and her husband, Jason, welcomed their second child. Together they have a circus of a life with two wild, inquisitive and well-loved growing boys, Sawyer and Griffin, and two VERY well-loved cats, Moo and Ripley. Jeannie loves being outdoors, running, paddle boarding, biking, hiking, adventuring with her family, making good music, eating good food, and finding new ways to love this beautifully imperfect world.
