Series: Our Money Story
October 25, 2026 | Rev. Brooke Heerwald Steiner
Join us for Celebration Sunday as we bring our stewardship series to a close and celebrate the generosity that makes our shared ministry possible! Together, we'll wonder what it might look like to live in a world where our worth isn't measured by how much we produce, earn, or accumulate. In Leviticus, we find a surprisingly radical vision of life together: a year of Jubilee when debts are forgiven, land is restored, and people have the chance to begin again. Farmers are even instructed to leave part of their harvest for immigrants and those living in poverty. These ancient practices challenge some of our modern assumptions about money, ownership, and success. What if our generosity could be about more than giving money away, but about participating in God's work of restoration and reconciliation, helping create a world where everyone has enough? I hope to see you there!
Series Information

We all have a money story, one shaped by our experiences, fears, hopes, and faith. Sometimes those stories tell us there is not enough, that our actions will not make a difference, or that we should limit what we imagine is possible for our church and community. But God invites us into a different story: one rooted in abundance rather than scarcity, generosity rather than fear, and hope rather than uncertainty.
