We love having children with us!
We love having children in worship. We also love having children in our Sunday morning programming, even if this is your first Sunday with us. During the worship service, all are invited to join Pastor Brooke at the front of the sanctuary for Children's Time. Children are then led to their classroom by their Faith Formation teachers. Parents are asked to pick up each child after worship. Once a month, all ages come together in the sanctuary for an energetic, interactive, intergenerational worship service. Our nursery is open for infants thru age 3. Parents can drop off their children with our adult nursery staff before worship begins, or anytime during worship.
Children begin the morning in worship and head to their classroom after the Children’s Message. Sunday School includes a Bible story, an activity, and play time. After large group, students are split into two groups: ages 4-1st grade, and grades 2-5. Parents and guardians are encouraged to volunteer in a classroom one Sunday each month and as your schedule allows.
Once a month, our worship service is designed with our youngest members in mind. Using repetition, actions, and movement, we tell the Bible story in a way that all ages remember long after the service is over. Each service has a theme that is reinforced through the upbeat music, prayer practice, sign language, and a short message.
Your child’s safety is very important to us. All of our staff who work with children go through training. Parents and guardians are encouraged and always welcome to sit in their child's room during Sunday school.
