We love our neighbors.
We strive to show it through a variety of relationships and ministries.
Our Outreach Ministry Team seeks to listen to the needs of our community
so that we can work together with love and compassion to meet them.
Whether you are hungry for food, connection, support, or purpose, we are here for you.
Whatever your passion is, we have a place for you to serve.
On the 3rd Saturday of each month, we host a free community meal for all from 11:30-12:30pm.
In partnership with ICA Food Shelf, we offer a food shelf at our church twice a month.
On the driveway outside our church is a Little Free Pantry. Everyone is invited to take what they need or leave what they want to share. Non-perishables and snacks are best.
Once a month, our church serves a hot meal at the men's shelter. This program resumes in September 2021.
We partner with the school district to offer a free after-school program for neighborhood students to work with teachers on homework and English language skills. The program meets once a week during the school year and part of the summer.
We are grateful to have many partnerships in our community. We have strong relationships with ICA Food Shelf, His House, WeCAN and Resource West.
We collaborate with faith communities, nonprofits, and social service agencies in the western suburbs. Virtual meetings occur every other week.
We support the United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR) which acts as the humanitarian relief and development arm of The United Methodist Church. For more information, head to UMCOR website.
