Holy Responsibility: Claiming Our Call to Tend the Earth

Series: Experiencing the Holy: Celebration & Responsibility for God’s Creation

September 04, 2022 | Rev. Brooke Heerwald Steiner

We wrap up our sermon series on creation care. We will hear the harsh words of Isaiah, who paints a grim picture of what the world looks like once it’s been polluted and abused. But it is not all doom and gloom. It doesn’t have to be, at least! God has us as care takers who can work to heal the hurting Earth and bring people together to work towards a better future. Join us in worship, in-person or online, to join in the conversation. How can our labor be for the betterment of God’s creation?

Series Information

Join us for 4 weeks in worship as we connect more deeply with creation and claim God’s call on us to be caretakers of the earth. For many of us, God is never more present or real than when we can experience God out in nature. Together, we will be sharing our love of nature along with urgent needs of environmental justice.
