Berries, berries, and more berries

Series: Summer Worship 2022

July 17, 2022 | Rev. Melanie Homan

It's harvest time! We typically think of harvest in the fall, but we are in the midst of a season of harvest right now: sour cherries, strawberries, blueberries...and the farmer's markets are filled with fresh fruits and vegetables. In the Gospel of Luke, Jesus uses the analogy of a harvest to describe the work that he wants his followers to do. We contemplate Jesus' call for us in the midst of God's abundance.
