An Affirmation for Youth

Youth Grades 6-12

Sunday mornings

From 10-10:45am, Youth in grades 6th - 12th gather to check-in and pursue Good together. Friends are always welcome!

Activities have included:

  • Learning about church history and traditions,
  • Practicing Faith practices, such as prayer and Bible study,
  • Volunteering at Feed My Starving Children, Second Harvest, and other service events
  • Bonfires and games,
  • Participating in Sunday worship service.

Confirmation

Confirmation is a two-year process for 8th and 9th graders. Students study the Bible, church history, Methodism, and faith practices. Each student is paired with an adult mentor. The focus is on serving the church and serving the community throughout the two-year program.
